  • 11. The Derby House

    This building, constructed in 1761, is the earliest surviving brick house in Salem. It is recognized as an excellent example of 18th-century domestic Georgian architecture.


    The interior is furnished to reflect the lifestyle of a rising Salem merchant in the 1770s.
